"Erica supported me and my husband for the birth of our second child. Because I gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband was the only one allowed in the hospital with me, so Erica supported us virtually via FaceTime. Talk about a less than ideal situation! However, Erica was super flexible and effective in supporting us, regardless. For the weeks leading up to the birth, she maintained close contact with us, especially as guidelines for hospital visitors were changing on a weekly basis. She continued to emphasize the importance of creating a relaxing, calm environment in the hospital even if she couldn't attend in person.
